Irish I had more Fish and Chips
A few weeks ago, Chris and I went to an Irish pub to meet some of his co-workers for drinks. I kept seeing food go by, and it looked fantastic. So yesterday I asked Chris if we could go get some fish and chips, at that Irish Pub in McKinney, TX. The pub is called the Celt and is located in downtown McKinney, Texas on Tennessee St.
We went in prepared to order fried pickles, beers, and fish and chips. We were MORE THAN delighted with the outcome. My Guinness was poured perfectly, the breading on the fried pickles and onion rings was perfect, and the dipping sauces (ranch and chipotle ranch) were the best combination for the fried food. As far as the fish and chips, I have never had better. I don't always order it when its on a menu, because getting breaded fish that is more breading then fish is disappointing, and even fries can be a let down sometimes. This was not the case with this fish and chips! it was perfectly breaded over nice big chunks of fish, laid over freshly fried french fries, and accompanied with tartar sauce! We were so pleased, and our belly's were very satisfied! If you ever get to or go to McKinney Texas, and you love fish and chips, The Celt is the place to be!
